Choose zinc oxide when sensitivity, rosacea, paediatric use, or melasma drive the SPF decision. It is the only filter approved across UVA-1, UVA-2, and UVB at full clinical concentration. Run it daily AM at 10% to 25%, reapply every 2 hours of sun exposure or after sweating. Pair with niacinamide and ceramides to keep the barrier comfortable; tinted formulations cut the white-cast on deeper skin tones.
