In short: we want this site to work for everyone, including people who use assistive technology. Tell us when something is broken.
Our commitment
BIOSAR is committed to making biosarlabs.com accessible to the widest possible audience, including users with visual, motor, cognitive, or auditory disabilities. We follow the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at level AA where possible, and we test the site with assistive technology before each release.
What we do
Every page on biosarlabs.com is built with semantic HTML, descriptive alt text on meaningful images, and visible focus states for keyboard navigation. Forms are labelled, errors are announced to screen readers, and all interactive elements meet WCAG colour-contrast minimums. The site is fully usable in English and Arabic, with right-to-left layout in Arabic.
Specific features we test on every release: keyboard navigation across every route, screen-reader compatibility with NVDA on Windows and VoiceOver on macOS and iOS, contrast ratios on text and UI states, and page structure with semantic landmarks (header, nav, main, footer).
Standards we follow
WCAG 2.1 level AA, the W3C ARIA Authoring Practices, and the Web Accessibility Initiative (WAI) guidance for cognitive accessibility. We also test against the local accessibility frameworks adopted in the markets we serve, including the Saudi Authority for Persons with Disabilities (Mowaamah) reference where applicable.
Known limitations
Some areas of the site rely on third-party services (analytics, embedded videos, customer-support widgets) that we do not control. Where their accessibility falls short of our internal standard, we either replace the integration or provide an accessible alternative. Sanity Studio, the editorial CMS we use internally, is excluded from this commitment because it is not part of the public site.
If you encounter a barrier
