Procapil is a tri-active hair-care complex of biotinoyl tripeptide-1, apigenin, and oleanolic acid used in scalp care to support follicle anchoring and reduce hair shedding. It targets the dermal papilla, modulates 5-alpha-reductase activity, and improves microcirculation around the follicle. Effective at 3% to 5% in leave-on scalp serums. Pairs well with caffeine and copper-peptide scalp formulas. No major conflicts.
Procapil is a cosmetic-grade peptide-flavonoid complex with negligible systemic absorption from topical scalp use. Mother to Baby flags no concern for cosmetic peptide complexes during pregnancy or lactation.
Peptide-based complex for the hair follicle cycle. Supports the appearance of fuller, stronger-looking hair over a three-to-four-month course, in line with the natural hair-growth cycle.
